This is a softer, more gently paced class that is meant to cultivate an internal meditative experience while stretching and recharging the body. This calm class incorporates breathing, slow movement (focused on the inner unit) and reflection.

Prenatal and new mama yoga helps to build strength, improve circulation, regulate breathing, opens energy channels and harmonizes the relationship and functioning of body, mind and breath.
As mothers stretch, they learn to relax naturally, and begin to trust the innate wisdom within – making it easier to surrender into places that feel tight, out of balance or even foreign.
For the mother-to-be, this surrender will prove invaluable from delivery day forward.
A couple can use their pregnancy as a catalyst to enhance and deepen their connections – not only between mother and baby, and father and baby, but between mother and father – in ways that will benefit all members of the new emerging family.
Breath and movement are the best tools for pelvic health. Our pelvic health classes focus on the inner unit (core four), diaphragm, pelvic floor, transverse abdominis and the multifidus. These core four affect the entire body and coordination between all four elements is required for ideal function.
